Comet put on a real show last night with some spectacular streamer structures visible in the 18". Tonight it's more tame. Magnitude has dropped I think. I'm finding more variability in my estimates and I seem to be systematically fainter in my estimates than those published in COBS. I'd say the comet has faded from my earlier estimate of 4.3ish to 4.5 using out-in estimation with 9x63 binos.
My latest comet Leonard from 28th December. Captured another sequence tonight (not yet processed) This was taken by my friend Felicity using a Canon 80D, Tokina 11-16mm f2.8 zoom and comes from a single 30s exposure at ISO800 My other friend, Phil @scribbly, is a recently joined member here so he can post his own results if he wishes to.
