Comet Leonard
Comet Leonard was a bit higher tonight and was naked eye. To the naked eye, the comet is starlike though slightly diffuse. To the naked eye, it is similar in appearance and magnitude to Omega Centauri.
I estimated the comet's magnitude at 4.1-4.3.Coma (the fuzzy bit around the nucleus) was visible in 7x35mm binoculars and a very small tail in 9x63 binoculars.
