Here is my first photo from last night's meteor shower. Much to my surprise one of my friends wanted to join me watching the shower. He showed up at my observatory about 3:00 am and stayed a couple of hours. I seldom have company on an early winter morning. I may need to stick a coffee pot in my warm room. This is a composite over 16 minutes. I used my Canon 6D with a Rokinon 14mm lens and on a Manfrotto tripod. Each exposure was f/2.8; ISO1600; 30 seconds.

Hi Rob. A superb composite nightscape of the Geminid meteor shower. A beautiful sky, foreground, and the meteors traveling from the radiant. Another fine capture from you Rob and congratulations on receiving the TSS APOD Award today.
