I caught this pretty nice flyover at 70°on October 24th at 5:40 am. The ISS was at 70°
Tech details.
Explore Scientific ED 127
Asi224 mc at 140 fps
AVX mount with clutches unlocked.
This image is a stack of 50 frames. I caught 600 with the ISS in total.

At a speed of 7.6km's (5 miles) per second , that is some really stunning detail for something travelling that fast! That is really well done, thanks for the share! :D

All the best,
Mark

All the best,
Thank you! I usually shoot VERY fast shutter speeds so that really takes care of any motion blur. For this shot I was shooting at .5 milliseconds at 140 fps. It’s basically lucky imaging, I can’t possibly keep it still in the FOV let alone keep it in the FOV very long at all, but shooting those speeds I still was able to get 600 clear shots of the ISS. That’s only 4.28 seconds out of about the 60 seconds aiming for it. The incredibly small sensor of the 224mc makes it very difficult. I have a camera with a much larger sensor that would make it easier, but it can only shoot 19fps at full resolution. It’s a total trade off. I’m probably going to try the larger sensor next time on 2000 mm.
