I tried imaging Neptune at a star party last Saturday with my Skyris planetary imager. This was a total failure as the planet was too dim at magnitude 7.83, and so it was a total failure. So, I tried again last night from my backyard with the Revolution Imager - this time set for Deep Sky viewing/imaging. Here is the result.
Telescope: Celestron 8SE / Wedge
Camera: Revolution Imager 2x barlow
Date: 10/18/2021
Magnitude: +7.83
Angular size: 2.35" (arcsec)
