Been so long since I captured / processed any kind of image let alone planetary.

Still have a ton of data to go over but this is the first chunk of it. Raw data not so great, it was really swimming around in a pool of mixed up warm air.

Yea the beauty of doing planetry imaging in avi format, cherry picking from thousands of frames for a few good ones.

That was from a 3 minute duration avi at around 20 fps. Took the top 5%

Hi Tom. A superb Jupiter capture with only 5% of the images stacked and your turbulent sky conditions. Very nice contrast, equatorial and temperate belting details and polar caps. Thanks for sharing this with us Tom and the best of wishes for better skies in the coming cooler months.
