You can tell that he's using a Southern Hemisphere Scope - positioning of Saturn UNDER Jupiter; and the Great Red Spot being in the Upper Band on Jupiter.

What I'm curious about is where he came up with the fifth Jovian Moon...

Any one of us can produce a Jupiter / Saturn "conjunction" whenever we want using Photoshop or GIMP or even Irfanview. What I want to see is the raw video he captured!

Hi Graeme. This is great work from Damian Peach, but I think that our own forum member astroavani (Avani) could produce equal results with his 14" Edge HD scope. Let's see what shows up on the forum soon.
PS. I wish I had one of those telescopes. :lol:

This was exposures with a CCD camera. The data is actually available free if you sign up for a month trial on Telescope.Live. I'll warn you that the data is almost 7 GB of 32MB exposures.
