A bit low in the horizon, i spent more time viewing it with my 10mm then imaging it, i had to set up the old eq6 and skywatcher 10'' in a location in the yard to get over the fence line .. i didn't polar alighn .. had no time ..

27% stack of 693 frames with a 2x barlow giving a fl of 2400 mm on an aps-c size chip. there's still a large gap in the sky between the two , i don't see this media christmas star hype train, still two points of light ..

Nice I saw it like that yesterday but jupiter moons were more clear , could not make out titan but also not the best seeing

Monochrome? Well, that's certainly one way to overcome the chroma-atmospherics. I regret not capturing a few frames in monochrome with my Canon 80D DSLR.
