I compare these really to consider the sensors. There are some advantages I see on the Sv 305 as I didn't need to push the wavelets in RegiStax so hard.

The 305 is slower (frame rates around 65 frame/sec) As compared to over 200 frames/sce on the ZWO) also I couldn't find a way to use PIPP on the 290 chip as its bayer is RGBG. AS!3 coped with this. [Note the SvBony website has an error in the Bayer matrix published - helpful what!].

I have some moon images to post soon. I get the impression that the SvBony 305 is agood first OSC for people wanting a bit more than purely planetary work (I have yet to prove this to myself...)

But entertianing - (to me) I admit...
