Did another attempt on Mars last night, probably my last of the apparition. Seeing was my normal lousy, temp near freezing, some hi-cirrus, and a bright moon. No wall hanger, but some recognizable features, notably Solis Lacus near the
meridian. Have imaged Mars this last month for one full revolution, so saw the major features, but no detail like those lucky few with good seeing and planet getter rigs.
