More Mars x 3 barlow

So last night I had the opportunity to try out a couple of things control & calibration via WIFI (Celestron) to my laptop & CPWI. All went really well and the AVX was aligned in 10 minutes. SE6, AVX, ASI 224MC, £x Barlow.

I carried out some test videos on Saturn adn Jupiter, but they are at now too low a declination in the UK for the atmospherics now. So, a bit of a wait (& gmaes on the Switch with the Missus) then over to Mars, ran a sequence of 5 short video's (tracking is fun at 4500mm) with the 3x X-cell Barlow at 640 x 480. Joined these i PIPP 6,300 files selected best 2,000 and processed the best 15% in AS-3, teaked in Registax 6 and PS. CO2 ice a bit over exopsed, but in genearl pleased with this one.

It's inspiring enough to make me think it's time to get the 290C GPCAM2 back out of the box!

Hey thanks all, just processed tonight's offering, with a crosshair as my alignment eyepiece I managed to get a great alignment. That let me get videos of greater length; the image out of Registax looks promising, and so, to bed.
