This image was taken the night the comet was near M81/M82. My skies are pretty light polluted in the Chicago burbs.

Nice comet Greg.

Did you have to shift one image when you stacked the two?

I've only ever tried Comet Atlas and DSS did a great job!

There was no shift. Just a normal stack of 2 jpg's.

You know, that's pretty darn good for a one arm Celestron 8. I've yet to seriously image a comet since getting back into digital astrophotography. I have several I've captured with film back in the 1980s.
