Imagine train and computer finally fixed

#1

Post by Kerry C. »

Since my last post I had a lost file in my computer that has shut me down until last night. After much frustration trying to fix it on my own I finally took it to a computer store. Somewhere along the line I lost a file that talks to other libraries (ComDig.OCX or one of its dependencies not correctly registered).
I also had them add a 1 Terabyte Solid State hard drive to give me some extra storage 😁👍.
Anyway after a few days getting everything talking to each other again I was able to start imaging again last night.
Imaging train and computer issues finally fixed… Whoohoo!!
Last night (9-21-21) I imaged Jupiter and Saturn.
Jupiter 15ms exposure, 210 gain, 50 offset. 3 minute video file keeping the best 12%.
Saturn 33.3ms exposure, 219 gain, 50 offset. 4 minute video file keeping the best 12%.
Both photos shot using Celestron C8, 2x Barlow, QHY5iii462C and IR/Cut filter. HEQ5 Pro mount. Stacked using AutoStakkert, processed and wavlet sharpening using RegiStax.
Thanks for looking,
Kerry
