What other neat ways could a telescope be decorated?
TV show and movie themed like Star Trek or Star Wars.
What's come into my head now is an old TV series called The Time Tunnel. It seems very appropriate.

Here's one from an old TV series: My Favorite Martian! The Martian was played by Ray Walston and he had antennae that would appear out the top of his head! He crashed his flying saucer and had to stay on earth until he got it fixed.

I don't know if the saucer or the Martian with his antennae or both would be illustrated on a telescope! :veryconfused:

At star parties maybe they should have some kind of contest to judge telescope artwork. I have never been to a star party so please forgive me if they already do this.

How about a very large but short refractor with a small person peering thru it and the caption, "SIZE MATTERS!" Bill

Check out this T-shirt. It kind of goes with the last T-shirt that I had printed which is pictured below.
DSCN1363.JPG
I had this made and wore it to my church a few Sundays ago. I gave a talk to my Sunday school class about how it has been a year since I stopped using toilet paper and that it has been one of the best things that I have ever done. I'm hoping that they get inspired to do the same thing which would help them out greatly and improve the planet.
