First sketch- NGC 1365

A first attempt at one of my favourite galaxies, the great barred spiral in Fornax as seen through my 18 inch F4.5
dob. The detail in the core was visible directly, although very faint, and could be seen curving to the centre. Seeing was good.

Man, that looks like a nice galaxy! Looks like it culminates at 17° from my latitude. Hmm, doable but not a good view. Might try it (sky permitting).
