Hi there

Here's another one of my paintings of a. Galaxy..the way I do it is I get a canvas and paint background black with sponge and then I do my spinals with paint and a bit of sponge and then use you imagination I hope you like it thank you for looking.

GrabnGo on Alt/AZ : *SW Startravel 102 F/5 refractor( widefield, Sun, push-to), *OMC140 Maksutov F/14.3 ( planets).
Most used Eyepieces: *Panoptic 24, *Morpheus 14, *Leica ASPH zoom, *Zeiss barlow, *Pentax XO5.
Commonly used bino's : *Jena 10X50 , * Canon 10X30 IS, *Swarovski Habicht 7X42, * Celestron 15X70, *Kasai 2.3X40
Rijswijk Public Observatory: * Astro-Physics Starfire 130 f/8, * 6 inch Newton, * C9.25, * Meade 14 inch LX600 ACF, *Lunt.

Hi Rhoda. Sorry to come in late on this thread as I am still catching up with everybody on here. A very nice painting and your rendition of a face on spiral galaxy is very nice. I like the star field, spiral arms details and the central core. Thanks for sharing your latest work with us Rhoda and keep your great artistic talents coming.
