3532 Firefly

#1

Post by Falcon 63 »

G'day all,

I have sketched this impressive cluster in Carina before.
Was good to revisit and compare to a previous sketch done 4 years ago.
Pencil, pastels and patience...

Cheers
Wayne.

Nice work Wayne! Not too many people can appreciate how difficult it is to sketch an object at the eyepiece in the dark usually with a small light of some sort. I too enjoy sketching objects especially Deep Sky using a clipboard and a small red light hanging from the focuser of my dob. This is very nice work from you and it’s great that you are sharing them with us! :Astronomer1:
