A couple doubles

#1

Post by Astrolopithecus »

Last night's seeing and transparency were quite poor, but I still had fun aiming my Astroscan here and there. I sketched a couple of the binaries that I chanced upon and added a touch of color with good old Microsoft Paint:

Very nice indeed. For me, what makes them extra special is that you made them with the amazing and iconic Astroscan! I dreamt of having one myself when I was a kid.

Nice sketches Astro - it wouldn't occur to me to sketch doubles, and then add color via software - simple and elegant.

I may look into that further myself. :eusa-think:

I am unabashedly in love with mine. I even started a thread about it on the other astronomy forum: https://www.cloudynights.com/topic/7286 ... n-thread/
