OMG Bryan.
I am rolling on the floor laughing.

I will try to post a drawing of my gear Seer, but I am not promising anything like the quality that you have posted.

With a box of art pencils, a ream of quality paper and two weeks of effort.....I couldn't draw a crooked line. So I'll take a hard pass on this challenge.

I think that is awesome!
It is interesting what you wrote on your drawing because I had my first dream about astronomy last night.

I can't draw to save my life. In total contrast, my cousin Anton Pulvirenti, is a full time professional artist.

He came on a solar eclipse tour I ran in 2012 and produced numerous pen and pencil on ink drawings.
Image

Our base of operations was an apartment. Anton produces lots of work that is like a snapshot of everyday life. Here he was sitting opposite me while I was sending emails, one of my mounts in the background. I was completely unaware that he was drawing me.
Image

Here I am on the porch on left with my late friend Bengt Alfredsson kneeling at the other mount. Once again, we were not aware we were being drawn.
Image

and this was the scene at our inland escape site. Our group travelled 2 hrs inland to escape the coastal cloud that skunked most observers.
Image

Still love looking at these drawings.

When seen in the smaller avartar, I didn't notice the drawing of the scope. Now your avatar makes perfect sense.
