I don't normally do much white light stuff - but this morning both CaK and Ha were problematic, so a rarity from me :D

Explore Scientific 80ED, ZWO 174MM, pipp, AS4, Affinity Photo 2.

Your W/L sure didn't give you any trouble , great image Geoff !!
Solar scopes (Coronado Ha) 60mm double stack , 90mm double stack , 150mm single stack .
W/L scope Williams Optic Megrez 110mm / Lunt herschel wedge .

Curious what kind of troubles you were having with your CaK and Ha rigs though? Was it mechanical or atmospheric?

Both!

Two mounts that aren't behaving - both polar aligned using the sun. One slowly edges east for an hour after 0800utc, then northeast - the other moves south! Correcting the drift is turning into a bit of a nightmare. The only Ha I attempted with a Lunt 60 refused to focus.

Nice catch Geoff,

My Ha has been as unsteady as can be lately, going in folks said the narrowband Ha would be more forgiving, I have to dis agree as often even the Ca k is easier in troubled skies...
