I woke up early this morning to take my dogs for their usual morning walk and was greeted to a beautiful, sunny, windless morning.
I decided to set my rig up on my balcony as it gives me a perfect location to set up in the shade and wait till around 10:30am for the sun to clear my roof.
Here's the setup.
And just about the time I finished setting up...this happened.
I had to tell myself, patience Greg, patience...this too shall pass.
And eventually, it did. Here is what I managed to capture today.
Lunt 80mm Double-Stack Ha scope, ZWO1600mm, captured 2000 frames and stacked the best 40% in AutoStakkert 3.0!, processed in ImPPG and colorized in Photoshop.
Feeling lucky, I added the 2.5x Barlow into the mix for a few closeups. For these, I shot 1000 frames and stacked the best 30%.
The closeup shots are inverted in color for the surface features with the proms along the edge kept normal.
