October 11th - White Light

Post by DMouse »

Hi, haven't imaged the Sun for some time, so gave it a quick shot. I used an Orion glass white light filter on my FSQ106 @ F5. Camera Altair Astro GPcam178 mono.

Hello Paul. A very nice solar active region image in white light. And the close up version is still tack sharp. Thanks for sharing this work with us Paul and the best of wishes for many clear skies for more imaging opportunities.

Very fine.
Is this the source of the lately predicted Solar "storm"?

Thank you for posting.
