So much rain, yet a window into the Sun

Hey all, hope you and yours are all well :D

Yesterday (Wednesday) we had more rain since I can't even remember when. Starting at about 3 AM, it was coming down at the rate of about 1 inch (~2.5cm's) an hour. Of course, Wednesday I cover about 250 miles (400km's) of area. Nothing beats leaving at 5:30AM to poorly lit highways to all that. White knuckle driving...

This morning it was still coming down. Haven't seen constant rain like this in quite some time, let alone the amount. However, after about 10AM it stopped, and with that the humidity left too.

Still, haze and big fluffy clouds were the order of the day. However, when I wasn't far from home today at about 2:30, there were some blue sky breaks; can I get home in time? Supposed to rain again tonight.

I got a break :D This was my sky when I took the following 25 pics:

The stacked 25 pics (Celestron C80-HD, Canon EOS 550D and Baader solar film). AR2874 it would seem is gone, but a new one might be coming around; as in the question marks:

Annotations are good, they include the question marks

15 minutes later; how quickly the weather can change. And now it's pouring again.

Been a long week, but I look forward to sleeping with the window open tonight for a change!

All the best,
