But I have a dumb question. Is your Lunt a normal refractor? For some reason I assumed all Lunt scopes were Ha Solar scopes. But that is what you are using the Quark for. So I just wanted to make sure I understand you are using the Quark on a refractor

Lunt makes or made an Achromat, the Lunt 102ED a really nice f/7 refractor with a really sweet 10-1 focuser! Their new scopes combine Ha as well as you take the etalon off and can use it at night

I have a Lunt LS80 (Ha only) just replaced the blue filter on the blocking filter as it got some kind of growth, at least the replacement is only $8 and easy to change, it is a known problem
