AR2835, 36 and most likely 2837
Hey all, hope things are well with you
Another freaking hot day; I had the AC on in the truck at 8AM. Thankfully there was a good breeze going every time I had to get out of it. Mondays are a short day for me as well. I left this morning at 15 minutes before 8AM, and was home at just after 2PM. Nice.
Got a few things done, and took out my scope at 4PM. The clouds were there, but also a lot of nice blue skies in between.
This morning I checked Spaceweather.com for the Sun, as I do everyday. The thing with them is this: what they put up is usually earlier when I view the Sun. Yesterday there were some spots just forming that they didn't have listed, and by the time I saw them they were well within view and forming, then given a designation the next day (today), which was AR 2836. Not a complaint; I actually find it kind of neat to be "ahead" of the game.
So once again... There is a new spot today as of this AM forming on the left of the disc according to Spaceweather.com, and by the time I shot the Sun at about 4:30 today, it was very visible and not just on the limb.
It will most likely be designated as AR2837.
The bottom two spots are AR2836, the bigger ones above it are AR2835, and the spot at the 9:30ish position is, again, probably going to be designated as AR2837. Remember, you saw it on The Sky Searchers first...
And again, the planets as well to scale.

Nice to see ol' Sol back and active again.
Alrighty, enough of me. Have a good night all
