This morning was so clear, but after 11PM it started to get hazy. When I got home at 3, the skies were a nice bluish-white.
Still, I went and got my C80-HD
I had a bit of a "window" after 5PM; skies were still hazy but no clouds. It seems sunspot AR2824 is returning after completing one revolution, and this time around it's re-labeled AR2833.
Both scopes use Baader Solar film and my Canon EOS 550D at ISO 100 and 1/250th sec exp, and the blue dot to the bottom right of each pic is our Earth to scale.
This is with the 60MM:

I'm quite surprised they turned out decently as it was shooting through a milky haze...
It's supposed to be clear tomorrow during the day. I'm thinking about taking the 60mm with me to work; so many places for me to set up at the side of the road and get some morning shots.
Solar-heads...!!
All the best,
