Sun Spot AR 2829 on June 7th

#1

Post by TheButcher »

Hey all,

Just got done going through some of my Solar images that I did these past few days. And here is one that I took yesterday, I wanted to catch some of the other spots on the limb and then saw this one as well. I think it is AR 2829, correct me if I am wrong ...Still learning the names and such :)
Also, I didn't put color in this one yet but kind of liking the black and white ones better.

I used my Celestron 120 Omni XLT Achro
Quark Chromosphere
ZWO174mm

10 sec video
10ms. gain 270
Took top 100

It was captured in FC then processed in AS3/Reg/PS

Thanks for Looking :)

Hi Brian. A very nice sun spot image from you and looks to be AR 2829. One advantage of B&W, is the higher contrast and details that show. Thanks for sharing this capture with us Brian, and keep the great solar work.
