I reprocessed this with ImPPG after I figured out why it wasn't working for me lately. I would start it, load an image of ol' Sol, and be presented with this:
Huh? Never used to do that. If I turned the sigma in the L/R deconvolution down to 0.6000 or below, it "went away", but so did any detail. My saved profiles, which I've used for over 2 years, just made a mess. Odd that.
So I took a look at the settings in ImPPG. Seems I did something somewhere in the past...
This setting below; I changed it from GPU to CPU + bitmaps.
And the winner is.... me!! Much better:

I think that's a "glitch"; that vertical line a bit to the left above the sunspot. That seems to happen when it's not 100% clear out, which it was not. Still, I'm happy to have figured out what was going on with ImPPG. Now I can just hope for clear skies!
