TSS EAA Messier awards
One of a few solar flairs from 12-5-2020.
I was having a bit of a problem with large vertical banding on my solar images. Flats would remove them but I didn't like having to mess with it. So yesterday I decided to figure out what was going on. I have a 'tilt' adapter to eliminate "newton rings" which it had done. But a thought crossed my mind. Had I REALLY eliminated them or just made them larger? After playing a bit I finally got rid of the banding.

Mounts: Orion Atlas EQ-g mount & Skywatcher EQ5 Pro.
ZWO mini guider.
Image cameras: ZWO ASI1600 MM Cool, ZWO ASI533mc-Pro, ZWO ASI174mm-C (for use with my Quark chromosphere), ZWO ASI120MC
Filters: LRGB, Ha 7nm, O-III 7nm, S-II 7nm
Eyepieces: a few.
Primary software: Cartes du Ciel, N.I.N.A, StarTools V1.4.
