AR2785 & AR2786 Approaching SW Limb

#1

Post by Lowjiber »

We've followed these two since they first arrived. Now, they're getting ready to "dive" around the corner.

I don't like shooting things approaching a limb... I always have to shoot a flat.:) Shot with SW 80mm ED, Quark-C, and an ASI174MM-cooled cam. Processed in Photoshop. Sun was 29.5 degrees above the horizon.

Thanks for the peek.

John, once again that is spectacular!! That "tail" off of AR2786 makes it look like a tadpole... Also, I noticed again you got a light bridge between the two umbra's of said spot. Great detail on that; I'm envious :D

I've been going over the info from your PM's; I need to find a night to sit down and concentrate on all that. I have a few good images that need it. And just as Solar Cycle 25 seems to be ramping up, my life gets snowy/busy. It figures.

Thanks for that John, I'm in pain here with so many sunspots and at the same time so much cloudy sky...

All the best buddy,
Mark
