B/W Xtreme Gamma AR2785 & 2786
I've been tinkering with extreme gamma adjustments lately to show a little more depth with B/W images.
Thanks for the peek.

Time is right despite the low angle of the sun, Gordon. The southern half of the sun is starting to look like it did a couple of years ago... Plenty of activity.

Thanks for the kind replies, everyone. Frankly, I'm amazed that so many folks liked it.
I started tinkering with that technique after reading an article by Mark Townley... one of the best solar imagers in the world. He's featured in this thread by member solsearcher (Mike) here: viewtopic.php?f=73&t=14969
(BTW: Mike (solsearcher) was my mentor's mentor several years ago... So we go back a while.)
For those who might be interested, here's how you go about creating the depth in IMPPG...
