In The Old Days... Pre-Solar Minimum

#1

Post by Lowjiber »

I was fumbling around in my DropBox this morning when I found a full-disk shot from 2016, before the solar minimum that is ruining my life right now. So I thought I'd post it to give everyone a glimpse back to the good-old-days.

Shot via a Lunt 60PT.

Thanks for the peek.

Love those inverted surfaces, Mike. :)

I can't post pics either, or "like" a post.

Hello John and Mike. Some excellent solar work from both of you when there was more activity. I checked with Raben on the current activity AR 2771 and AR 2772 are still on the far side, so it will be a little while until they come back "around the bend" to the earthside for another chance at them (if they are still active).

Thanks for sharing your fine work from the "old days" on here guys, and the best of regards.

I'm fine with the sun going on holiday. I'm certain it needs to rest.
