Between Mars and Saturn this morning. Messing around with my old Sony again. Actually it's a couple of larches (?) lined to block my view to the SE.

Heh, that's not too bad. You should see what I have to peek through. More trees than sky!

That's part of it. I have a huge blue spruce to the south and the house blocks the SW and W unless I set up in my driveway which is really bombarded with porch lights.

But the spruce is magnificent and I have good privacy in back after the neighbors go to bed, so I shouldn't complain too much.

You are fortunate. I used to have a view like that from my backyard, a few more trees here and there, until a new neighbor built an oversized McMansion with no backyard. Now I have a three story Costco style box structure, ten bright lights and zero privacy along my eastern front. Grrr.

It's a DSC HX9V. I've had it for years, but got in the habit of using my iPhone for vids and pics. I just started messing with the DSC again a few days ago. I might try some afocal AP with it, but it would have to be handheld for now.

My town is infested with teardowns / McMansions also. Ridiculously tight lot lines and building heights. Not sure if that will change with COVID.
