Now that's really cool, Rob. My only Lyrid on maximum shower day and that was visual. Nowhere near as nice as yours. Mine was relatively short and probably about a magnitude 4 of some such. I did see two other meteors that late evening, which were better, but they were not a part of the Lyrid swarm. Swarm? Haaahaaaa!

An interesting factiod was three days previously I actually saw two Lyrid meteors (and another non-Lyrid) originating at the Lyrid radiant point. One was a head-on meteor the other was at a very steep angle, therefore it had a very short track but a relatively long burn. That one was about a Magnitude1 or so and it was throwing off "sparks."

Your foreground framing is spot-on. Very nice.
