This is some older data that I just processed, imaged early in the spring of 2019. I was interested in trying to mix some low cloud with the galaxy peeking just over the trees.
In my early days with this lens, my focusing protocol is essentially to twist the focus to infinity and bang away. Ignorance is bliss, they say.
This was imaged wide open at f2.8, so you see some spiking on very bright objects caused by the aperture blades in the lens.
Another single exposure, 30 seconds, Nikon D90, ISO 1600, f2.8, Rokinon 10 mm lens. Manual release, no intervalometer.
Thanks for looking,
Ian
