The shallow overcast filtered the glare of Venus seen in the upper left quarter of this image. And if you look close you will also see the Canada Geese heading north.

MOUNTS: SW AZ/EQ5, MEADE LXD75, CELESTRON CG4, Farpoint Parallelogram.

Thank you all for the encouragrments.

I have been enjoying this new cell camera.
There is a "Night" mode setting that gives some nice results. I believe that is the mode in which I snapped this image. I had to do very little post process. I wish I knew how the camera does it.

I have had personally satisfying results with afocal cell phone imaging on the telescopes in the past...mostly the moon.
I have not had an opportunity to try this camera in that way yet...but stay tuned. 😊

There is no " astrophotography" going on here...😊 but it is fun to catch some snaps.

Well Mark keep a clear eye...these geese do seem to be traveling in circles, but eventually they get up north.
There were thousands the day I shot this image. They may have come over this local because of the many lakes here abouts.
