I've just come in from a great couple of hours viewing Saturn and Jupiter with my 80mm orange-tube C80 with its stock star diagonal (a very heavy prism)with various Fujiyama KK Ortho's. More on that tomorrow...
Last Wednesday and Thursday I had an opportunity through the clouds to take some pics with my Canon EOS 550D and the stock 18-55mm lens of the two gas giants and the Moon forming something of a triangle in the sky.

I also took 15 shots of ol' Luna on the Wednesday with said camera at ISO 200 and 1/360th ec exp with my C80-HD; stacked those with PIPP and a bit of sharpening with the Raw Filter in

I did want to do some visual, but there was a thin haze both nights with way too much "twinkling" going on, both with the planets and the stars, not to mention the glow from the evil orb.
