TSS Photo of the Day
Photo shoot went a little sideways
Hi All -
6.19AM
this morning had last chance to photo starlik19 fly over -
got ready last night charged batteries- new card formated & tested -
kept tripod warm so head would move well - last time was cold and not good -
Got up hour before shoot-
setup and tested - let eyes adjust -
when satellites fly over at Low orbit things happen Quick --
2 minutes ish shoot is pretty much over -
Im in pretty flat desert -tiny hills -
parked about 500 yards form a small but high truck/Rv traffic Highway -
Surprising how many Rv there are - constant going by in day -
about One minute before satellites arrival -
5 or 6 what I think were police cars came from Both directions on highway - Fast
Bright Lights flashing Everywhere - small hills 3 sides of me bouncing light / flashing -
Felt like in Disco -
several cars stopped on highway and started Saying something over loud speaker -
beeping sierens -
What is going on ???? there is No one really in area - 3 RVs that it -
Satellites are Cruising Over head - Now -
I had planned to mostly Just Watch the satellites fly over - Enjoy it -
but quickly - my night vision was going away - bright Flashing lights
Soon what I think was a Truck with flashing lights came down highway escorted by 2 more flashing cars -
was trying to concentrate on satellites but when the Speakers thing started i had to looked over -
Have no clue what they were saying - mumble muble skreetch meumble - siren
night vision was mostly gone by now so decided to maybe salvage this by taking quick photos -
truck went by -
2 minutes - cars All gone and so were satellites -
But you know - Im Lucky -
it could have just been Only some clouds
