My Comet Neowise chasing journey

#1

Post by jon.s »

For over three weeks in July, my life was completely taken over by planning and photographing Neowise, learning about it, and sharing my images and experience with like-minded folks. Never before have I approached a photography project with such intensity for such a long duration!

As the year draws to an end, I put together the timelapse videos and stills I’ve taken into this three-minute video of my comet chasing journey. I hope you’ll enjoy it! View full-screen with music turned on for best experience.

And also an image of Neowise at its prime (early morning July 10), set against farm buildings in southern Ontario, Canada.
