Thanks Michael! I took some longer exposures but the aurora move rapidly, and it turns into a wall of light with no definition. After the moon sets tonight I will try again.

Thanks Michael.. I snapped off a bunch, and as the aurora change so quickly, some are quite different from this one. I will post in the next few days.

Thanks Marshall! As a youngster I worked one summer as a guide in a fly-in camp. It was in Northern Ontario, very close to Hudson Bay... the Aurora were all shades of magenta, green, red, to purple, and they enveloped much of the sky! I wish I could go there again. Someday.

Thanks for your kind words... I felt that enthusiasm when I realized a few weeks ago that the sun was beginning to become active again, after a long hiatus.
Anyway, these displays are quite stunning live, as the colours can be perceived with naked eye after about 45 min of dark adaptation. All feelings of tiredness quickly leave me as I see them begin to wind up. Sometimes they fill the entire Northern sky. Which sucks for
