Moon 27th March 2020

#1

Post by buddsy »

Hi all

Had my scope out to look to Venus but was able to get a view of the young moon.

I stacked a short clip in Registax.

Im quite new to processing on Registax.

I adjusted the wavelets but my first attempt was "too processed" for my liking. When I looked at it the image looked too unatural.

I then adjusted more cautiously and below is the result which Im pretty pleased with.

Moon Stacked Processed 3.jpg

What are people thoughts on how far to process images?

Cheers all.

I like this version a lot, Buddsy. I think Moon images can be overdone, but this one is nice and crisp without going over the edge!

Hi Buddsy. I love the warm tone color and the sharp surface lunar details along the terminator in your image. Thanks for putting this capture up on here for us to enjoy Buddsy, and keep on keeping on.
