Lunarography, 1 February 2020

Got a clear one this evening though seeing is kinda poor. I only set up for lunar imaging and spent 2 minutes capturing my data and packed up.

Here is my 3-panel mosaic for the evening.

Scope: SV102T
Camera: ZWO ASI174MC
Mount: AVX
Software: SharpCap to capture, Autostakkert! to stack, Registax to sharpen, MS ICE to composite, GIMP to uncompress the TIFF, and StarTools for a very slight color balance tweak.

Man, how ever did you insert such a large image? Dang, its beautiful!

I am out too. Trying to catch M1 in the moonlight. Pretty darn small in my fov, but it was on my bucket list and I had the opportunity, so why not give it a try. Another good guiding night at <1 (so far!).

Good luck on M1! That one can be a bit tough to find the right exposure length on. Easy to blow the core out on that one. I should say, rather, it is easy FOR ME to blow the core out on that one.
