Moon with National Geographic 70 mm and iPhone 5

This took three hours over three nights to figure out how to do it and get it this close to right. 32 mm ocular, so 22X.

I went out again last night and took this, much like the first one, perhaps better focus. this was with a 32 mm ocular, and a 700 mm focal length 70 mm refractor, so 22X.
This was with the Moon Filter in the Celestron kit. But that did not help. I still had to close the virtual "iris" to reduce the glare.
Like the one above I flipped it left-right to put the sunside to the west.

It is a nice picture and all - and thanks for the thanks above - but I am not inspired to do more of this. Other people take much better pictures of much more difficult objects. My passions are in a different direction.

Nice work, especially with a phone. This is something I have never tried, but perhaps I should.
