First Lunar Photos

#1

Post by bigfish »

This is our very first attempt at taking Lunar pictures.
Smartphone mounted on an Orion SkyView Pro 8 EQ, 1.25 x 25mm eyepiece and a 13% Moon filter.
I saw some clouds moving in so the whole procedure was kind of rushed. I didn't really take time to adjust the levels on the phone.
I think they came out pretty good for our first try. How fun!

This is very good bigfish. Keep working it. The cell phone on good seeing can give you very satisfying results !
These results are quite good. My cell phone shots are here.
