My first lunar photos!

#1

Post by StarGazer45 »

These are my first lunar photographs. I made it with this telescope: https://www.astroshop.es/telescopios/na ... az/p,62376 and at home. I just used my phone for the shots, and from 15 shots, these are the best:

You may want to look at getting a phone holder to attach to your focuser.
This will center the lens over the eyepiece so it is centered and help the camera focus.
Keep at it in the meantime :)

The telescope comes with a phone holder. The problem was that I couldn't focus the moon very well. However, I have managed to do that now!

This is my best photo so far:

Very good, now you just need to play with centering the image :)

Perhaps send this member a PM, he uses a cell photo for quick astro photos and for use during outreach.
He can probably give you some good tips for setting up.
