Bagged another 6-panel. Had to wait a while before the Moon got up and over a tree in the southeast. No rushing about either so it was kind of relaxing for a change. Man, this was my ninth consecutive evening with a lunar capture. I'm gonna have to start working on a game plan on the waning side of the fence. I'm sure I'll be shut down by clouds by then, though.
There were not very many naked-eye stars showing owing to the moonlit sky and poor transparency.
Anyway, same spiel as last time:

Bryan, you amaze me! That is really good, especially for so close to a full moon! Your use of StarTools intrigued me, so I gave it a whirl with some of my pictures. The end results? Something along the lines of what my cat might barf up
Nine nights in a row, wow. I hope it continues for you, and I do look forward to your 'sequential moon-phase' pic...
Must get back to work; hope all is well and the work hours have subsided

Show off... Keep 'em coming because I'm jealous!!!
Thanks, Patrick!
Well, gents, the sky turned on me this evening. Rain clouds moving in, dark and dreary, and flashes of lightning in the west.
I did see the Moon rising, so I hurriedly set up.
I did score a low altitude and extincted capture:
I needed more altitude though for a mosaic. It finally hit 11 degrees so I popped in the barlow and set to work.
She was still a bit orange at that height, but I managed my 6-panels. Got them stacked and composited. But after the StarTools treatment, I saw that I had some debayering issues with Autostakkert that I need to see if I can work out.
After cranking the composite through the color module in ST, the results immediately put a Rolling Stones song in my head, "She's a Rainbow".
I'll keep goofing around with that one to see if I can get some semblance of decent out of it.
Meanwhile, I'll leave you with this:
PS - I did manage a tolerable full-disk for my sequential moon phase series.

I like the Rolling Stones pre-1970, not so much afterwards.
Coldplay is a band that writes great songs for others to sing as well

Thanks, Gabrielle!
Yeah, especially the '80s Stones. What were they thinking?
As for Coldplay, I like "Yellow" but otherwise...
