09-23-21 - A Compairson

Post by chris_g »

I went beck out last night and took 30 light, 10 dark and 10 bias using the Optalong L-Pro to see how they would turn out from the previous night without it. I used the same exposure but increased the ISO for 100 to 400. All processing was done in PS. I used the same settings on the second shot I did on the first, except temperature. The first night was 4400 and Adobe set it to 7200 on the second night. I tried 4400 but it turned the Moon to an interesting blue color. No stacking, single shot both nights. I'm going to try stacking them later when I have more time to play with Registax.

Comments, good, bad and indifferent are all welcome, thanks for looking!

What you see is what you get,
Clear Skies!
