Bracketing the Harvest Moon, Coming and Going
I got out tonight and shot the moon in the wane...again.
I had a nice image just before full moon on the 18th.
I put them together here...."coming and Going". :-)
A fun outing.
Peace to you all.

Excellent colour and contrast Mark. The clicked version blows up nicely.
Will you be going for a first and last crescent next month?

Re: Bracketing the Harvest Moon, Coming and Going
Just got in from work, and was presented with your great image; that's really well done! As Graeme said, the colour and contrast are superb!
I still sometimes try to see how many nights in a row I can shoot the Moon; the most I've ever managed was eight in a row. That says a lot about my weather...
Talk to you soon,

Re: Bracketing the Harvest Moon, Coming and Going
Hi Mark. A nice bracketed pair of Harvest Moon images. Nice contrast, surface details, and ejecta rays in both. Thanks for sharing these with us on here Mark and the best of wishes for many clear skies.
