09-22-21 - Autumnal Equinox Moon

Image

First light with the Canon in prime focus with my ED80. All processing was done by PS. I tried fiddling with Registax and PIPP but this is the best I've gotten so far.

ISO setting 100 exposure 1/500, no darks, flats or bias. What you see is what you get... 8-)

All comments welcome and suggestions for improvement more than welcome. Thank you for looking...

I was raised in Alexandria until I went to school in Covington when I was 12. From there I left Louisiana when I was 18 and traveled the world with the Air Force for 11 years I ended up in Marksville 15 years after that when my mom passed away and moved back.

Small world. Until recently my folks would visit the casino there in Marksville regularly.

I'm glad you like it Mark. I just came back in, one of the reasons I usually don't go out during the week. I took some shots of the moon with the new Optalong filter, it will be interesting to see what I got.
