I had a very lazy day yesterday. The morning started off being warm and humid, with a forecast of rain. I spent a good part of it sitting in a lawn chair, while Sasha claimed her table.
The rain came to pass just after noon; the furry sack and I went inside. My wife and daughter were visiting respective friends, so it was just me and the furball. I whipped up a box of KD; it's been on my mind for a bit. Call it a cheesy craving... Sasha licked the bowl clean after I was done, and then we both fell asleep on the couch.
I woke up at 5PM to a light rain and clouds, still. Soon after both the girls came home and we had dinner. During this time the rain stopped. I took a look outside at about 8PM which is twilight here, and was surprised to see that it was clear. Well, sort of. The stars I could see were twinkling, and the 16% illuminated Moon was setting in the northwest.
Not even close to total darkness, but after snoozing the afternoon away I felt to do something constructive
I used my usual arsenal; Celestron C80-HD
